About Bridge Building Ministries

…is a ministry of God’s healing and restoring love to the nations, and especially the body of Christ. Based upon Jesus’ ministry of Luke 4:18 it seeks to heal the brokenhearted and to set people free where they are spiritually and emotionally wounded, and still held captive; to free them to become and experience all God has for them as Kingdom men, women and youth.

Through seminars, books, teaching, and personal ministry we teach about the taproot of all emotional hurt relationally, rejection. We deal with its cause, consequences and cure. The heart of both the Bible and life is relationships. We believe that the heart of all biblical sin relates to the damage and/or destruction of relationships, with God and others.

We also seek to call out, train and equip those within the body of Christ whom God has called to do this vital work of redemptive ministry by the power and gifting of the Holy Spirit. Life at both its most basic and deepest levels is about learning to live and love in relationship with others;interdependent with one another and deeply dependent upon God.  We also teach on the Father’s heart and love, calling out and equipping spiritual fathers and mothers to help mentor, model and re-parent an often parentless generation.

Bridge Building Ministries is a ministry to other ministries and to the nations, seeking to “prepare for Him a Bride without spot or blemish.”This is Kingdom healing.

Bridge Building Ministries Mission Statement

We teach Luke 4:18-19 Kingdom healing and equip others to do so as well; healing the broken hearted and setting the captives free through the use of books, media, seminars, and mentoring. Teaching and modeling the Father’s love we have been commissioned to raise up spiritual fathers and mothers for the end time harvest.

Jon Eargle

In 1978 God spoke to Jon Eargle and brought Bridge Building Ministries into being. Based on the scripture Luke 4:18-19 its purpose and calling is, “…to heal the brokenhearted, set the captives free and release the oppressed…” and to declare that this is God’s time for them. It is pre-eminently a ministry of the Father’s Healing, Restoring Love and the Equipping of the Body for this type of Kingdom ministry. This is done through books, CD’s, training seminars and healing workshops.

Jon’s mission, as well as that for Bridge Building Ministries, grew out of over 15 years as a pastor and a childhood spent in a tremendously dysfunctional family, including severe physical, emotional and sexual abuse and addiction. God has used Jon’s materials throughout the nation and in more than 30 countries to heal the emotionally wounded, hurting and rejected, as well as blessing many with physical healing. His seminal book is, Healing Where You Hurt…On the Inside and its companion Healing Workbook. He has produced many tapes and tape albums (now on CD) on a broad range of inner healing topics that are very anointed by the Spirit. Jon continues to write, teach, train, and mentor following God’s call on his life to help heal, restore and equip the children of God.
